All Common Interest Development such as Condominium Home Owners Associations must now follow specific election procedures per California Civil Code 1363.03.

What is the purpose of the law?

To provide all members of the development with:
  • Open and fair voting procedures
  • Equal access to HOA communications
  • Candidate qualifications and reasonable nomination procedures
  • Voting Qualifications, proxy information, polling times
  • Election timelines

How do I provide this?

The law requires an "independent third party" to conduct elections.
